Heather received the Jay Bleeke Award in 2014 for outstanding service as a young Association of Lutheran Development Executives (ALDE) member and the ALDE Creativity Award in 2017 for her “#thanksGivingTuesday” initiative. She was named a Thrivent Fellow in 2013.
As founding executive director, she led all aspects of organizational development, including corporate governance, strategic planning, fundraising, program evaluation, program expansion, and succession.
In her consulting practice, Ashley partners with clients on various capacity-building efforts, including fundraising, governance training, and strategic planning. In addition to strategic counsel, she provides expert donor communications services for select clients.

Jessica has a Master of Public Affairs and is a Doctoral Candidate at William James College where she is obtaining a degree in Leadership Psychology with an emphasis in neuroscience. Additionally, Jessica is a certified Quadrant 3 Leadership Coach.

Christal earned a MA in Counseling from Hampton University, a BA in Liberal Arts from Hofstra University, and multiple professional development certifications.
She currently serves on the board of the Greater Atlanta chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Villages of Carver YMCA. She is on faculty at CANDID where she teaches courses in fundraising and board development. She also enjoys a membership in the African American Development Officers Network, Toastmasters, and F3, Fabulous Female Fundraisers which she founded.
Mr. Korin received his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University he and his graduate education at the Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles, Zelikow School of Jewish Communal Service. He was awarded an honorary degree by HUC in recognition of his outstanding service to the field in 2001. Korin is a certified Quadrant 3 Leadership Coach with a particular interest in strengthening the development practices of directors of development and the organizations they lead.
A resident of Scottsdale, Arizona he has served on several nonprofit boards, including Jewish Major Leaguers Inc., The American Jewish Committee, The New England Aquarium, Hillel Foundation at Brandeis University, Friends of Brandeis Athletics. After serving on their alumni board, he was appointed a member of the President Councilors of Brandeis.

Taylor is the Founder and CEO of Barlele, a brand and marketing strategy firm that helps businesses and nonprofit organizations grow through clear storytelling, branding and strategic growth coaching. She has helped hundreds of organizations tell their story in digital channels.
Taylor lives in North Carolina with her husband, two children and a dachshund named Lady. In her free time she loves to swim, ski, hike and also spends a lot of time chasing Lady around because that dog always has something in her mouth that she shouldn’t.

Kathy founded KDD Philanthropy after a career that included serving as Associate Vice Chancellor of University Development at University of California, San Diego, Vice President of Philanthropy at Sharp HealthCare Foundation, and Associate Vice President of University Relations and Development at San Diego State University. In these roles, she honed her approach to supporting both the leaders and the advancement staff who are building a better, more generous world through their work.

Thao has been leading ActionAid Vietnam to serve 4.6 million people in country building a better life. Under her leadership, ActionAid Vietnam is recognized by communities, local authorities, and partners for its contribution to advance the people’s rights to quality education, gender responsive health care and climate resilient livelihoods. Thao and her team managed to maintain a diversified and stabilized funding base for ActionAid innovative and impactful programmes in the country. Thao is an expert on tax and financing for climate change, with a focus on ASEAN and EU. As a student of Concord Leadership Cohort 2023, Thao believes that adaptivity and integrity will make all leaders successful and happy.

Nguyen Thu Hue is an accredited member of the partnership brokers association (PBA), promoting professionalism integrity in brokering multi stakeholder partnerships for sustainable development. With more than 20 years of experience as a founder, executive director, board member and lifelong learner, she uses the PBA approach in her own leadership journey and in building confidence and skills in others.
Ms. Hue helps other leaders at their tipping points of career development, transitioning across sectors, especially those from small business or nonprofit organizations to thrive, recognizing challenges of power dynamics and imbalances they normally face in their work. Over the last 30 years, Clay (the “T” is silent) has held just about every position in nonprofit fundraising and communications, from Grant Writer to Chief Development Officer. He’s worked at a number of nonprofits across the country and has held senior positions with prominent, international consulting firms.
Well-versed in all areas of fundraising, Clay’s particular expertise is in building the strategies, systems, and storytelling that support effective fundraising. As the founder and principle of TCB Fundraising, he focuses on individual giving strategy from acquisition to major gifts, data and technology systems for more efficient fundraising, and developing case and copy that engages, uplifts and inspires.
Clay has been recognized as one of the nonprofit sector’s leading speakers and trainers. He holds the Certified Fund Raising Executive designation, a Certificate, With Distinction, in Philanthropic Psychology, and is a certified Master Trainer. Kelly is very active in her community in Upstate South Carolina and serves on the City Council of Travelers Rest and on the boards of Piedmont Health Foundation and Greenville First Steps. Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree at Presbyterian College and her master’s at the University of Georgia.
She is a graduate of Leadership Greenville Class 41, was awarded Best and Brightest 35 under 35, and was the recipient of the AFP Piedmont Chapter’s Young Philanthropist Award. In her spare time, Kelly can be found on stage performing with Alchemy Comedy Theater.
Jess started her fundraising career while in college working with the alumni office and then interning at a homeless shelter in the D.C. area. After that, she was hooked and has been serving the nonprofit sector for nearly 15 years. She loves building philanthropy programs and teams from the ground up.
She lives in Providence, Rhode Island and makes frequent trips to the White Mountains in New Hampshire, her happy place to hike and ski. She is looking forward to adopting her next fur baby!
