As the head of fundraising for various nonprofits, he’s personally raised more than $100M including several seven and eight-figure gifts. Heather is a seasoned nonprofit leader and AFP Master Trainer, experienced in several areas of the philanthropic sector, including higher education, human services, associations, faith-based and international relief and development organizations. With over two decades of nonprofit experience, she has an extensive background in leadership and management; fundraising; marketing and communications; grant seeking; strategic planning and analytics. She currently serves as Executive Director of the Chapel & York US Foundation.

A highly rated international speaker, she is passionate about giving back to the profession as a thought leader and volunteer. She has held the CFRE credential since 2009, is the immediate past Chair of the CFRE International Board of Directors and is Chair of Rogare, the international fundraising think tank.

Heather received the Jay Bleeke Award in 2014 for outstanding service as a young Association of Lutheran Development Executives (ALDE) member and the ALDE Creativity Award in 2017 for her “#thanksGivingTuesday” initiative. She was named a Thrivent Fellow in 2013.

Ashley spent her first 10 years in the nonprofit sector building a nonprofit from the ground up. After completing a year of national service as its first AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America), she successfully transitioned the Rhode Island Urban Debate League from a program of Brown University to an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit.

As founding executive director, she led all aspects of organizational development, including corporate governance, strategic planning, fundraising, program evaluation, program expansion, and succession.

In her consulting practice, Ashley partners with clients on various capacity-building efforts, including fundraising, governance training, and strategic planning. In addition to strategic counsel, she provides expert donor communications services for select clients.

She is a Council Member for Rogare, an international fundraising think tank. Additionally, she co-chairs the professional development committee of Rhode Island’s Association of Fundraising Professionals chapter; advises nonprofit ventures at the Social Enterprise Greenhouse; and serves on the Providence Juvenile Hearing Board.

With 30 years of experience leading and serving in business, civic, and faith organizations, Emily works with individuals who are on a path of self-discovery, who are feeling stuck, and who are facing a Transition. Emily’s toolkit includes strategic thinking, a clear communication style, compassion, intuition, a sense of humor, and a pair of knitting needles.

Paulea received her BA in Sociology at Brandeis University and earned her MA in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University. She has over 20 years of experience developing people and programs through community-based organizations, churches and in higher education. Her passion is to assist people in their journey to discern and live out their calling. One of her favorite quotes is credited to theologian/activist Howard Thurman, “Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” Paulea sees her role as a coach and spiritual mentor as a way to help people discover what really makes them “come alive.”

She provides strengths based coaching using Strengthsfinder assessment tool; life coaching and spiritual direction for individuals, couples and small groups; retreat planning and facilitation; and speaking on issues related to urban ministry, racial reconciliation, community development and healthy relationships.

She lives with her husband, Bil, in Dorchester, Massachusetts, and has three amazing adult children. Paulea loves all things sci-fi and her favorite movies include Black Panther and Lord of the Rings.

Jessica Sharp, who uses she/her pronouns, is on a mission to change the world through love & belonging. Jessica is an entrepreneur, organizational psychologist, content creator, and leadership coach. Through Sharp Brain Consulting, a neuroscience-based organizational development firm, Jessica supports non-profit leaders and staff members who want to cultivate and sustain a strong culture rooted in workplace belonging.

Jessica has a Master of Public Affairs and is a Doctoral Candidate at William James College where she is obtaining a degree in Leadership Psychology with an emphasis in neuroscience. Additionally, Jessica is a certified Quadrant 3 Leadership Coach.

Christal M. Cherry is a nationally recognized nonprofit executive and professionally trained fundraiser. With over 20 years in the nonprofit sector, she has supported higher education institutions, human services organizations, and faith-based missions. Now as CEO of The Board Pro, a consulting firm designed to transform leaders through board service, she customizes training and support for the unique needs of each client.

Christal earned a MA in Counseling from Hampton University, a BA in Liberal Arts from Hofstra University, and multiple professional development certifications.

She currently serves on the board of the Greater Atlanta chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Villages of Carver YMCA. She is on faculty at CANDID where she teaches courses in fundraising and board development. She also enjoys a membership in the African American Development Officers Network, Toastmasters, and F3, Fabulous Female Fundraisers which she founded.

Hillel Korin is the President of Korin Development Associates. His work has focused on serving the Jewish Community most recently through coaching, and consulting to mid-sized organizations. His career has spanned over five decades. Korin’s fundraising expertise has benefited Jewish federations, synagogues, universities, independent schools and cultural arts and a variety of community organizations in the United States and Israel. During his career, he has worked on board development projects and coaching senior volunteer and professional leadership.

Mr. Korin received his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University he and his graduate education at the Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles, Zelikow School of Jewish Communal Service. He was awarded an honorary degree by HUC in recognition of his outstanding service to the field in 2001. Korin is a certified Quadrant 3 Leadership Coach with a particular interest in strengthening the development practices of directors of development and the organizations they lead.

A resident of Scottsdale, Arizona he has served on several nonprofit boards, including Jewish Major Leaguers Inc., The American Jewish Committee, The New England Aquarium, Hillel Foundation at Brandeis University, Friends of Brandeis Athletics. After serving on their alumni board, he was appointed a member of the President Councilors of Brandeis.

Kathy Drucquer Duff of KDD Philanthropy is an expert in advancement and leadership development with clients around the world. Thao and her team managed to maintain a diversified and stabilized funding base for ActionAid innovative and impactful programmes in the country. Thao is an expert on tax and financing for climate change, with a focus on ASEAN and EU. As a student of Concord Leadership Cohort 2023, Thao believes that adaptivity and integrity will make all leaders successful and happy.
